3. Jungle Shisha – If you’re looking for a more of a chilled night time vibe you won’t be
disappointed with this pick. Neon interiors and tasty grill food. They also provide
entertainment so you don’t want to miss out on the belly dancers. Great food & fantastic vibes for Birmingham Freshers.

4. PhatBuns – This fast food joint is a hit with locals, delicious juicy burgers with a great
price. Serving burgers, wings, shakes and more it’s a step up from McDonalds, don’t skip this

brunches. You won’t be disappointed with this spot, it’s the ideal place to go this freshers

7. Grand Central Kitchen – Looking for filling? Looking for affordable? Look no further than
this café. Serving mouth watering cooked English breakfast, recommended by locals and

mains starting from £8. This restaurant has become a hit throughout many cities in the UK
but the Birmingham chain is a must visit.

9. Kimchi Korean – Affordable Korean eatery, located in Selly Oak just a 7 minute walk from
UoB. Large filling dishes with a homely warmth about them. You won’t regret visiting here,
